Colin Kemball died peacefully in his sleep on the 20th August at Royal Surrey County Hospital, aged eighty. Area Chairman Colin Squance said: "Colin was a stalwart of the sport and a great supporter of the south east. As an owner/rider he was still riding in his sixties, having also competed in the Foxhunters at Aintree in his earlier years . His generosity, sharp wit and tales of the sport were legendary and he will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him."
His cremation will be a private family affair but arrangements are in hand for a memorial service to be held next month.
